Abstract. Geographical drawings are used for the purpose of facilitating the
understanding of phenomena and processes from nature and society. They are drawn on the
board by the teacher, accompanied by explanations. A well-executed drawing follows
scientific, aesthetic and methodical rules. Geographic drawings represent a graphic
materialisation of geographical knowledge.
