Abstract: The integration of the salt deposits in the geographic landscape of Prahova’s Sub-Carpathians. In Prahova’s Sub-Carpathians, the presence of salt is felt in the landscape in various forms. The area with salt deposits is affected by compressive tectonic processes. There are many landslides. The roofs of the old saline collapsed, the holes were filled with water, and the salt lakes were born, many of them used today in balneotherapy, in Slănic and Telega. Dissolution processes also contributed to the formation of karst relief on salt. Landslides lead to the appearance of salted mineral springs. The salt mines are opened for extraction purposes and after exploitation some of them are used as tourist attractions. The negative effects require protective measures (monitoring the dynamics of landslide and and concrete to line the shaft and fill the existing cavities).
