Abstract: Țibău Mountains – Considerations on the limits of a
mountainous areal from Northern Romania. The limits of Ţibău
Mountains of Maramureșului and Bucovina Carpathians are even less
known than the mountains themselves. Tkanks to the limits outlined in this
study we can increase the area of Ţibău mountains therefore multiply the
arguments for a self established mountain unit in the northern part of
Romania.
